On the North side of Sancy, the resort of Le Mont-Dore is situated at the foot of the majestic Puy de Sancy (1,886m high), peaking point of Massif Central, and of the springs of Dordogne. This side offers a relief adapted to all skiers, from the steep slopes to the easily accessible runs. Le Mont-Dore was one of the first resort classified as winter sports resort. Nowadays, family resort par excellence, Le Mont-Dore knows how to reconcile health, sports and entertainment in a mountain and nature environment. 42 km of runs, 85 km of runs thanks to the junction with Super Besse, 33 runs : 15 green, 9 blue, 7 red and 2 black itineraries, 20 ski lifts altogether : 2 cable cars, 2 chair lifts, 16 ski lifts, 81 snowmakers allowing artificial snow-covering of 10ha of runs, 1 Snow Park equipped with an independent ski lift, gathering a set of bumps and modules, a course of a series of obstacles- tables, hip, curl, big-air.
