On the North side of Sancy, the resort of Le Mont-Dore is situated at the foot of the majestic Puy de Sancy (1,886m high), peaking point of Massif Central, and of the springs of Dordogne. This side offers a relief adapted to all skiers, from the steep slopes to the easily accessible runs. Le Mont-Dore was one of the first resort classified as winter sports resort.
