Bessans, with its Scandinavian air, is one of the favourite destinations for Nordic skiing enthusiasts. The village, built on the flat bottom of a former lake is seen as a meeting point, as well as the large expanses of fresh snow that tempt long hiking adventures. Bessans also has 5 kilometers of Alpine skiing slopes with 4 ski lifts. Ideal for children and beginners, the slopes are fully south facing.
